@fishfinderflyfishing They also recorded a fish over 42 lbs, but the funny part is they didnt enter the derby!!! They could have spent 113 bucks on a derby ticket, and got 80,000 in return!

@croot10 Thanks a tonne man, this really means alot considering how far we have come. Were doing our best to try to speed up our progress as its somewhat slow right now, but hopefully we can keep making videos and keep the views coming.

    Thanks a bunch,
    Andrew

@SetTheHookProduction Awesome, can’t wait to check out the new vid. I’m loving these salmon vids, you guys do an awesome job editing and of course with the fishing. Btw, I’m loving the centrepin as well. Looking into trying one myself. I have a great float rod but need a reel. How do you like the one that you use in the vids?

@fishfinderflyfishing Yeah, lots of sizeable fish this year, from what I understand it was mostly due to the baitfish size and abundance. I talked to somebody who ran a charter service and their boat brought in several rainbows over 20!

@SetTheHookProduction thats for sure! Even out in the lake during the derbies this year there were some huge fish entered. It should be a great steelhead season as well, from what I understand.

@TQBN09 STocking forsure makes all the difference. Not to say there isnt some good stocking up here because off to the east of where I fish there are some well stocked rivers, and it deffinately shows. Me and Chris were off that way yesterday and we ran into a LOAD of fish. The video will be up….. eventually….. we have a alot of fish footage to edit.

@SetTheHookProduction You got it, definitely enough to have sore arms the next day. And yup, they definitely got the stocking right in NY.

@TQBN09 SOunds good, 30 + fish is enough to make your arm hurt eh? The stocking programs are much better though I would assume, as they are somewhat lousy up this way.

@SetTheHookProduction I fish Irondequoit Creek in Rochester for the most part. This stream you’re fishing in the vid reminds me a lot of it. I try to hit the Genesee whenever I get the chance tho. It’s about 45 mins east of the Oak and its as good as it gets this side of the Salmon River. Had some 30+ fish days with my dad.

@TQBN09 I know that Chris is contemplating taking a trip down to New York this season, but youll have to ask him. Where do you fish? I checked out a shop that did guiding on the salmon river but this was during the summer months when we were on vacation, the main guide showed me a 22 lb steelhead he landed a few years back.

@SetTheHookProduction hmm well thats good to know. I’m heading to the Genesee River on Friday. If you are ever in Rochester during the run, that’s the place to go. Tons of big, mean kings and big water.

Do you know if this creek is stocked? I live in Rochester, NY and my local stream (not stocked) hasn’t been producing yet.
